In order to carry out an academic exchange at our school it is very important that the following steps are followed in accordance with the dates indicated:

Step 1. Nomination
We send our partner universities an email with the link to the nomination form. There are two nomination periods:

•     from 1 April to 31 May (first semester/autumn semester)
•     from 15 September to 31 October (second semester/spring semester)

Step 2. Online application
We contact the nominated students and provide them with the necessary information to complete their online application by:

•     9 June (first semester/autumn semester)
•     10 November (second semester/spring semester)

We advise you to follow the Vademecum file for visiting students so that you do not miss any important steps.

VERY IMPORTANT. Insurance:
Students should contact the Welcome Centre of the UPV/EHU (info.welcomecentre@ehu.eus) to take out their medical insurance and travel assistance insurance (compulsory), and send a copy to incoming.eib@ehu.eus at least two weeks before their arrival in Bilbao.

Mobility for traineeships is only possible for citizens of the European Union. If you want to do a traineeship with us, your home university has to send the nominations and documentation to ingenieria.internacional@ehu.eus before:

•     1 April, for placements between May and August
•     1 July, for stays between September and December
•     1 December, for stays between January and April

VERY IMPORTANT. Insurance:
